Lieutenant Lyle Denison oversees the Clinton Fire Department's Cadet Program. Lieutenant Denison has great respect for the fire service and takes pride in passing his knowledge to the youth that pursues working in the fire service field.
The Clinton School District now offers Emergency Medical Technician Classes and also Basic Firefighter Classes through the area vocational program. To work with this program offered by Clinton School District and to gain interest in our communities youth in 2016 the Clinton Fire Department started the Fire Cadet Program. The program accepts youth male and female from the ages of 16 to 18 years old. The program is limited to a maximum of 5 cadets at a time. Cadets will participate in training with the firefighters and participate in special functions and public relation events.
