Firefighters train employee's at Liberty Village & Hawthorn Retirement Center how to properly use fire extinguishers. Over 70 employee's were trained on fire behavior and usage of three types of fire extinguishers.

On August 7th the City of Clinton made a unanimous decision to appoint Jeff Hoke as Fire Chief. Jeff brings 30 years of experience to the department. Jeff's goals are to grow the service and personnel into a forward direction. Also appointed was Stephen Page to Assistant Chief.
