The City of Clinton City Council unanimously decided to accept the appointment by Commissioner Ballenger of Stephen Page to the rank of Fire Chief. Stephen Page became a firefighter for the City of Clinton in January of 2011 and has been very active since that time.

Firefighters prepare for the Coronavirus at the local John Warner Hospital in Clinton. The hospital is using the MABAS Division 46 tent as a screening TRIAGE area for patients that have symptoms of the virus.

We are so thankful for the Eagles Club in Clinton, Illinois. Again, they sponsored and hosted a fundraiser for the fire departments in Clinton, Wapella and Kenney and raised $37,000 dollars! We are so thankful for all the support from the kind people in our county and city.

Clinton Fire Department opened their doors for a evening of fun, snacks and information. Firefighters had on display plans for the new fire training facility and fire safety information for the kids.

Over 25 other fire departments were present at the 2019 Clinton Fire Prevention Parade. The kids learned lots from the fire training smoke house. The children also enjoyed getting there face painted, seeing Sparky the dog, dancing to the music and sitting in all of the trucks.

Clinton Firefighters are ready to respond to your aid if needed while attending 2019 Apple and Pork Festival. Preliminary numbers show over 100,000 people visiting the City and a great forecast of weather is expected!

Orland Fire and Police came to the City of Clinton and taught Active Shooter Training. Firefighters learned about trauma in mass casualty incidents, formations and movements with police and management of large scale trauma incidents.

At 18:04 August 9th 2019 the Clinton Fire Department was dispatched with first alarm companies to a home on east Jefferson Street in the City of Clinton. Firefighters found heavy fire conditions in a 2-story apartment building.

WAPELLA — Ronald M. Ziegler, 77, of Wapella, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday (May 21, 2019) surrounded by his loved ones at his family residence.Service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Chaplain Bob Goebel officiating.

Clinton Eagles Club Annual Daytona 500 Race Day Fundraiser was a Huge Success! The Fundraiser is for Wapella, Kenney and Clinton Firefighters. The three fire departments will be splitting a whopping $30,000 dollars! The firefighters of Clinton cannot thank the people at the Eagles enough.
